About me

I founded this company driven by a deeply held belief that everyone has the right to live free from abuse.

As a child, I witnessed and experienced the devastating effects of domestic abuse  firsthand. These early experiences, combined with the lack of awareness and understanding surrounding abuse and its impact on victims and their children, inspired me to dedicate my life to this vital work.

Over the years, my mission has grown from directly supporting victims to empowering professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to make a difference.

Experience and Qualifications

I’m Naomi – a domestic abuse, and stalking specialist, trainer, & consultant, with over 15 years of frontline experience. I’ve worked across a wide range of settings, including criminal justice, social care, housing & education.

I’m a SafeLives qualified Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA), and I have extensive experience supporting high-risk victims of domestic abuse, stalking and SV, managing complex cases and presenting them at (MARAC) Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences. Over the years, I’ve held IDVA roles as a court IDVA, in police teams, Children’s Services, housing departments, and No Recourse to Public Funds teams. I’ve also supported women fleeing abuse in refuges and worked as a (VAWG) Violence Against Women and Girls Officer and Domestic Abuse Coordinator for local authorities and national charities, including Victim Support, Solace Women’s Aid, and Refuge.

I am also an Out of Court Resolutions (OOCR) trainer, delivering interventions and training to offenders on behalf of police and criminal justice partners as part of diversionary and rehabilitative programmes.

My academic background in criminology and sociology has given me a strong foundation in understanding the root causes of abuse, power dynamics, and social inequality, all of which underpin the way I approach both my work with victims and training delivery. As a qualified trainer (Level 3) and certified Training 4 Influence facilitator, I design and deliver bespoke training that reflects the realities of frontline work with victims. I also offer consultancy and expert input for organisations seeking to strengthen their safeguarding approach and improve their response to abuse.

What sets me apart is the combination of front line professional experience, academic grounding, and my own lived experience as a child that grew up in a home with domestic abuse and stalking.  I deliver training that resonates on a real level, it’s compassionate, honest, and rooted in what survivors actually need. I share the insight and approaches I’ve developed over the years to help others respond with empathy and safely.

Driven by compassion, grounded in experience, and backed by deep sector knowledge, I’m more than a trainer, I’m part of a wider movement for change, helping to reshape how services across the UK understand and respond to abuse.

Specialist Qualifications

Level 3 Award in Education and Training, a recognised teaching qualification that enables me to deliver clear, engaging, and effective learning experiences. I apply adult learning principles and inclusive teaching methods to create safe, interactive environments where complex topics like domestic abuse can be explored with confidence.

I am a Level 3 SafeLives certified Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA), specialising in supporting high-risk victims of domestic abuse. This qualification enables me to expertly assess risk, develop comprehensive safety plans, and provide advocacy tailored to survivors needs. With extensive experience navigating complex multi-agency safeguarding frameworks, I provide crisis management and ensure that victims receive coordinated protection and holistic support at every stage.

I have completed the IRIS (Identification and Referral to Improve Safety) IRIS IDVA training, specialising in domestic abuse intervention within healthcare settings. I delivered the IRIS training programme to health professionals across the borough on behalf of Victim Support.  Equipping healthcare teams with the knowledge and skills to recognise signs of abuse, respond appropriately and make referrals, improving outcomes for patients experiencing domestic abuse.

A certified Training 4 influence facilitator, trained to deliver dynamic, engaging and learner centred sessions. This qualification enhances skills in presentation, communication and group facilitation, so that training is Inclusive, impactful, interactive, and tailored to meet the needs of delegates.

I believe learning about abuse needs to be more than just providing information, it has to feel safe, relevant, meaningful and impactful. That’s why my approach is trauma informed, I understand how difficult some of this content can be, so I create a space where people feel respected, supported, and able to speak freely and ask questions without judgement.

I’m passionate about making training that’s Inclusive, engaging interactive and practical, not just theory, but practical skills you can implement straight away. Whether you’re new to the subject or experienced, you should leave feeling confident and ready to make a difference.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Sociology. This qualification provided me with a comprehensive understanding of crime, social behaviour, and the wider societal factors that influence both victims and offenders. My academic background contributes to my insight into domestic abuse, helping me to approach training and consultancy with a well rounded, evidence-based perspective that connects theory to real-life experience.

All training and workshops are fully bespoke and designed in collaboration with you. Whether delivered face to face or virtually, each session is tailored to suit the needs of your team, sector, and level of experience. While I specialises in abuse, I am also a qualified trainer with a proven ability to design and deliver content across a wide range of subject areas, making me well placed to respond to all of your training needs.
